I was passing through the town of Idaho Falls and a local gave me a tip that I should check out the Palisades Creek Trail. She said that there would be elevation, cooler temperatures, no wildfires, no smoke and I could fish in the creek or in the lakes. I didn't need any more information. I packed light for just an overnight trip and made the most of it. Check out the video.
