Banff Mountain Film Festival Hits Austin April 13-14th

The Banff Mountain Film Festival is touring around the world and hitting Austin on April 13th and 14th. If you have never been to this event it screens some of the best shorts from around the world about adventure travel, climbing, trekking, biking, etc. If you are looking for inspiration for your next adventure this is a must. 

In Austin, there are actually two screenings. On Saturday the screening is the "Radical Reels" or adrenaline films screening. The Sunday screening is the adventure films screening. If you arrive early there are usually booths from sponsors with some giveaways (gift certificates, socks, small gear). The value of the giveaways usually adds up to more than the cost of the ticket which is $19.
