Rio de Janeiro... Where There Is Always Music and Dancing
In Rio de Janeiro, it seems that music, dancing and celebrating life are an integral part of life.
I already told a story about a picnic that turned into a party.
During the Festival do Rio (Rio Film Festival) I watched a documentary called A Batalha do Passinho (Battle of the Baby Step). After the film some of the subjects from the film put on a little performance.
If you go to a Carioca house party in Rio, you can expect live music and raucous dancing.
And one of the best examples is the street party that erupts every Monday at the Roda de Pedra do Sal.
